Meet Christina – Your Guide to Balance and Vitality
With over 18 years of teaching experience, Christina is more than just a yoga instructor—she is a passionate advocate for the transformative power of movement, mindfulness, and holistic well-being. Her unique approach weaves together the wisdom of ancient traditions with modern techniques, creating an accessible and inclusive practice for individuals of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds.
Christina’s yoga journey began at 16 years old, when she stepped into her first yoga class and discovered a profound connection between breath, body, and mind. Commitment and dedication led her to earn a Bachelor of Applied Science in 1999, launching a career in the fitness industry as a personal trainer, group fitness instructor and other roles in the fitness industry.
In 2006, Christina completed her first formal Yoga Teaching accreditation at The Byron School of Yoga and has since enriched her practice with continuous education and exploration. Drawing inspiration from her training in Tai Chi, Taekwondo, Qigong, and mindfulness, she seamlessly blends Eastern and Western principles into her teachings. Her extensive study with teachers across diverse yoga traditions—including Iyengar, Ashtanga Vinyasa, Restorative, and Hatha—brings depth and versatility to her classes.
What sets Christina apart is her holistic and compassionate approach. Whether guiding a senior recovering from surgery, a new mother navigating postnatal changes, or someone seeking balance amidst life’s challenges, Christina tailors every session to meet the unique needs of her students. She specialises in working with individuals recovering from injuries, trauma, and health conditions, offering a safe, nurturing space for transformation.
Christina’s teaching emphasises the integration of breath-work, movement, and philosophy, empowering her students to not only build strength and flexibility but also cultivate resilience and inner peace. She believes yoga is a tool for life -a way to navigate challenges, bring joy, and connect deeply with oneself and the world around us.
Join Christina on this journey of self-discovery and renewal, and experience yoga not just as a practice, but as a way of living with intention, grace, and vitality.
